      Death: Will, written 5 Feb 1901, filed in Carbon Co. Utah, typed copy found on pg 341 in "The Ewell's in America" By James H Ewell

      Bur: Provo City Cem. Sexton Rec. Bk 979244 pl v2h pg 103, states he was died in Helper. Helper is the larger town next to Spring Glen, which would be the post office address of residence.

      Bapt: 20 Mar 1853 is a re-babtism date. HDC WRF pt2 SL Stake re-baptisms; In Early Church Index Card File, 24 Apr 1827 is given, Bapt. by Pleasant Ewell Note: The church wasn't organized by 1827. Perhaps it should read 1847 in Council Bluffs? Card references this information from: Record 1C Seventies 219 (34th Quorum) Ordained May 17, 1857 by John Tedwill
      TIB Card states the year 1847 for the baptism date without the month and year.

      A short account by Elnora Ewell Perry, grand daughter
      Everyone loved Brother Ewell, as they called him. They always had church gatherings at his home. Francis loved to be with the young folks, always working with them in the ward. When he became ill and had to give up his work, on account of his health, they gave him a party, with a wicker rocker, as a token of their appreciation.
